Little Gems and Bigger Vistas

I hope you are enjoying a dazzling Autumn, full of gleaming low light and crisp air.

The Birch glistening with golden leaves, the hills glowing with warm ochre coloured grasses.

I have been out trying to capture the jewel like leaves and the liquid, gold reflections.

I have added some new works on my website and decided to rename the categories, from "Sea" and "Land" to "Little Gems" and "Bigger Vistas", the paintings defined by their size, as so many have the sea in them.

The paintings below are smaller works on show in the Christmas Exhibition at the Tolquhon Gallery in Aberdeenshire from Saturday 8th November to Saturday 20th December.

I have also added a few more new works, two larger vistas and some more little gems.

I'm busy now working away for my solo show in May on the Isle of Skye at the Gallery an Talla Dearg in Isle Ornsay.

It's a beautiful location, where I show around forty to fifty new works in the gallery.

You can find me there, usually working away, while the exhibition is on.
